Nikora to launch a new project for schools in highland villages

With in the framework of social responsibilities, Nikora continues to take care of education and the younger generation. The company will hand presents to students and four schools in the region, including three schools holding the mountain status. At the first stage of the project, in October, 4 schools will receive personal computers, all students from the first including the eighth grade will receive school supplies. In addition, the Company will donate reading literature to school libraries in order the youth living in the regions to have access to modern literature.

The list of selected 4 schools is as follows:

Racha-Lechkhumi, public school of Tsesi Village

Guria, public school of Zoti village

Imereti, public school od Vakhani village

Mtskheta-Mtianeti, public school of Zhebota village

Nikora explains that the donation of schools will not be one-time and the project will continue in the future as well. Gradually, new schools will be selected, which the company will hand the presents to.

Support and financing of education represent one of the main priorities of Nikora. This is not the first time that the largest Georgian food company has supported the younger generation. It has been already four years since 4-4 students of the Faculty of Food Technologies of the Agricultural University of Georgia receive a monthly scholarship named after Nikora. Scholars are selected on a semester basis on the grounds of academic performance in the previous semester. This time, the company expanded the scale of the project and began to assist schools as well.
